Our website supports contact forms to allow you to Contact us and to express an interest to Buy a Cabin. The form you submit is processed to send an email to our business email address for attention.

Our website supports Rental Application Forms that allow you to apply to rent a cabin. We collect a variety of personal information through this form including names, contact details, addresses, photo identification, rental references and employment information about our customers and potential customers.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

From time to time, components of our website may use cookies to support website capabilities.

The website is not a membership site and self-registration has been disabled. Therefore, no cookie information is collected here.

Your privacy is very important to us. At Log Cabin Park Accommodation we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

  • We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

We operate one website and it is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Log Cabin Accommodation Park collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site and the date and time of each visitor request. Log Cabin Park Accommodation’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use its website.

Log Cabin Park takes all reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from loss, unauthorised access, destruction, misuse, modification or disclosure.

Aggregated Statistics

Log Cabin Park Accommodation may collect data about the behavior of visitors to its websites and use 3rd parties such as Google and Wordfence.com to process it. For instance, we may monitor the most popular pages via Google Search or Google Analytics websites or use firewall services screened by the WordFence.com service to help identify and curb malicious attacks on our website. Therefore, we may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, we do not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Log Cabin Park Accommodation does not store personally-identifying information on our website, potentially with the exception of the IP Address.

We do use Google Analytics for purpose of improving our website for operational efficiency, which if not blocked by the users browser, provides data to Google for aggregated statistics.

Disclosure of Personally-Identifying Information

Information collected from residents and prospective residents is relevant and appropriate for operating the Log Cabin Park Accommodation business.

When processing rental applications, Log Cabin Park Accommodation will disclose some personal information to a third party, namely the National Tenancy Database, and will contact referees provided by the resident in order to assess the application.

The Log Cabin Park may also disclose personal information to Government bodies including the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal where required in the operation of the caravan park business.

Some personal information collected from residents will be disclosed to Log Cabin Park’s cloud-based property management software provider, NewBook.  This is primarily so that NewBook can provide customer support to the Log Cabin Park in the event of a problem with the software.  NewBook does not sell or rent personal information to marketers or unaffiliated third parties.  Their privacy policy can be found online at https://www.newbook.cloud/general/privacy-policy/ .

Log Cabin Park Accommodation is permitted, required or authorised by law to disclose personal information to a third party in certain circumstances.  The following list of circumstances is illustrative but not exhaustive. 

The Log Cabin Park Accommodation may use or disclose personal information where

  • Necessary to lessen or prevent a serious threat to life, health or safety of an individual, or to public health and safety. 
  • There is suspicion of unlawful activity or misconduct of a serious nature.

Accessing Your Personal Information

In most cases we will provide you with access to your personal information but there are circumstances where we are permitted to refuse access and we reserve our right to do so. In most cases we will provide you with access to your personal information free of charge. However, we reserve the right to recover our reasonable costs of providing you with access to your personal information held by us. If we decided to charge you for accessing your personal information, we will notify you of this beforehand.

Correcting Personal Information

If you believe that we hold personal information about you that is wrong (which include inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading), you may request that we correct the personal information. Where we are satisfied that the personal information is wrong, we will take such steps (if any) as are reasonable in the circumstances to correct the personal information.
